Easily control global shopping with our two prepaid cards

Just a few clicks to get our prepaid Mastercard and UnionPay QR code immediately. The Octopus Mastercard can be used by all online merchants who accept Mastercards; You can also add it to Google Pay to make payments around the world through your phone. The Octopus UnionPay QR code allows you to make payments to over 30 million merchants in mainland China and overseas. How can I check my balance on the Octopus app?

For security reasons, this feature only supports registered Octopus cards.

Android mobile device equipped with NFC:

After successful registration, please take a photo of the registered Octopus card towards the back of the mobile device. In just a few seconds, the Octopus balance and recent transaction records will be automatically displayed. If you want to view another Octopus card, please press the back button or wait for 30 seconds.

(Smart Octopus: The Octopus App will redirect you to the Samsung Pay application to view transaction records)

IOS mobile device:

IOS users must be equipped with an Octopus mobile reader for use. Please pair the iOS mobile device and Octopus mobile reader/writer first (refer to the pairing steps here). After successful pairing and connection, please send the registered Octopus card to the Octopus mobile reader. In just a few seconds, the Octopus card balance and recent transaction records will be automatically displayed. If you want to view another Octopus card, please press the back button or wait for 30 seconds.

If using an Octopus mobile phone card, users can use the Octopus App's search function without registering.

How to register for octopus

1. After downloading Octopus on this website, use a Hong Kong mobile card to fill out and register;

2. Fill in the nickname according to the requirements, obtain the verification code, and then activate the verification email in the email to register successfully;

3. Then, in the software settings, change the language to Chinese;

4. Then click on O! LePay Mastercard, the software will prompt you to upgrade your account;

5. Then fill in the required information for upgrading.
