The rules of the game are very simple and suitable for 2 to 5 players of any age. The object of the game is to avoid getting the "exploding Cat" card, because once a player draws this card, they are immediately eliminated from the game. The remaining players continue playing until there is only one player left.

How To Play Recipes For Disaster?

Here is the basic gameplay:

1. Shuffle all the cards and place them back side down on the table.

2. Each player draws a card from the top of the deck and places it back up in front of them. All players open their cards at the same time.

3. In a clockwise direction, each player executes the instructions on the card in their hand.

4. If a player draws an "Exploding Cat" card, that player is eliminated and play continues until the last player is left.

Card types include:

Exploding Kittens: If the player draws this card, the player will be eliminated unless they use a "Defuse" card to stop the explosion.

- Defuse: A "exploding cat" card is neutralized to prevent players from being eliminated.

- Skip: Let the next player skip their turn.

- Look at Another Player's Card: Allows a player to look at another player's card, but cannot tell the other player what the card is.

- Renounce Royalty: This card allows the player to stop drawing cards in a round.
